Mark 5:34
He said to her, ‘Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.
“Who touched me?” This question came from Jesus as He was crowded by the multitudes trying to get close to Him. One little woman reached out in faith and touched Him, expecting to receive a tangible transfer of His anointing.
When she did…she was healed! Why? She believed what she heard about Jesus healing the sick. The thought of receiving a “touch” from Jesus sparked insight and faith. “When she heard about Jesus…” (Mark 5:27).
She spoke the truth again and again in her heart. Mark 5:27-28 says, “She came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she thought, ‘If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.’”
She didn’t give up…she pressed on. She could have given up, but she touched Jesus and received His healing. We are to act in faith just like this woman did. Do you need a tangible transfer of His anointing on your life? Reach out to Him in faith.
